October 30, 2024

Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Park is the ultimate children’s playground!  This sweet, whimsical area, tucked away behind Fantasyland, is designed for guests to feel as though they’ve stepped directly into the world of Mickey Mouse and his friends. Mickey’s neighborhood is the focus of this immersive cartoon-themed land. It boasts colorful buildings with playful architecture and numerous experiences planned by Disney Imagineers with the youngest Mousketeers in mind. Toontown includes safe play spaces for kids to run around and explore, dining options they’ll love, and three family-friendly attractions. Not to mention, opportunities to meet with Mickey and Minnie Mouse inside their cute homes!  What more could you ask for?

Three fantastic play areas are available for children to let loose and explore. They are all equipped with exciting, interactive features that will keep kids of all ages busy and entertained.

CenTOOnial Park is the first area you’ll encounter when entering Mickey’s Toontown. The park has ample green space for kids to run around and play and plenty of shady spots to sit and take a break. One of the highlights is a Mickey and Minnie Mouse fountain with water tables at its base for kids to splash around in.
Goofy’s playful spirit shines in the theming and design of Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard. Kids will love the climbing structures, slides, and various hands-on activities at the playground in Goofy’s imaginative backyard. The silly fun continues indoors at Goofy’s house, as well.
Little ones will love running around and cooling off at Donald’s Duck Pond. In-ground pop jets and a variety of interactive water features are highlights of this delightful area that is part playground and part splash pad.

One of the best parts of visiting Toontown is the chance to go behind the scenes and tour Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s adorable homes. There are so many fun details and decor to admire as you walk through each house, and make sure to keep an eye out for the superstars themselves! Mickey and Minnie make regular appearances and offer meet-and-greet opportunities every day.

Mickey’s Toontown has three family-oriented attractions. The whole family will love Roger Rabit’s Car Toon Spin and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Neither of these rides has a height requirement, making them both suitable for all ages.

Sit back and enjoy a train ride engineered by the one and only Goofy, as he whisks you around his cartoon world. Prepare yourself for lots of laughter and plenty of familiar faces!
You’re in control of your fate – and your taxicab – on this silly ride through the streets of Toontown. Steer past obstacles as you try to keep up with Roger Rabbit on this fun adventure.

Guests 35 inches or taller can also ride Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster. This attraction features gentle drops and turns and is perfect for those new to roller coasters.

Chip and Dale’s friend Gadget loves to tinker and get creative with odds and ends that she finds. She used her collection of acorns to build a GADGETcoaster for Toontown’s youngest visitors.

When hunger strikes, head to Good Boy! Grocers for a selection of tasty and healthy treats. You can fill up a commemorative souvenir picnic basket with snacks and a drink, add an adorable checkered blanket, and head to CenTOONial Park to relax and refuel. With each Perfect Picnic Basket you purchase, you’ll get to choose 3 snacks from an assortment of items like fruits, crackers, trail mix, granola bars, and one beverage.

For fresh quick-service options like pizza, hotdogs, and wraps, stop by Cafe Daisy. You’ll also find specialty tea and coffee drinks here for your mid-morning or afternoon caffeine boost.

Before you leave, don’t miss a chance to shop for some mementos of your time at Mickey’s Toontown at EngineEar Souvenirs. This adorable gift shop is fully stocked with a treasure trove of merchandise featuring Mickey Mouse and his friends.

Mickey’s Toontown is a wonderful destination for families visiting Disneyland Park with children. With interactive play areas that encourage little fingers to touch everything, three terrific attractions appropriate for most ages, shady areas to relax, safe spaces to let young ones run around, and dining options that are sure to please everyone (not to mention priceless photos of meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse at their cute homes), it’s truly the perfect place for a family day at Disneyland!
