Disney Cartoons

My kids are now 15, 13, and 10, and I think it is safe to say they have outgrown all things Disney Junior.  What they have not yet outgrown (and secretly I hope that they never do) is their love of cartoons.  Though they seldom agree on what to watch on TV, they will always happily sit down together if Disney cartoons are on the table.  When they were younger, they enjoyed watching the original animated cartoons from the 1930s and 40s.  Their favorites were always those in which Donald Duck was featured.  He is a family favorite, and they’ve always found him and his antics to be hilarious!

The kids’ passion for cartoons was recently reinvigorated with the launch of the Mickey Mouse Shorts series in 2013.  Ninety-six brand new cartoons have aired since its debut.  In each episode, Mickey and his friends encounter hilarious predicaments that inevitably result in the same slapstick comedy reminiscent of Walt Disney’s classics.  Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto take turns stealing the show every single time, and provide plentiful belly laughs for everyone in the family!  The Mickey Mouse Shorts were a hot topic of conversation during dinner recently when I asked the kids which were their favorites.  Apparently, naming just two or three was near impossible for them.  They’ve loved them all!  But, after much discussion and debate, they narrowed down their choices and put together the playlist below of their “FAVORITE Favorite Shorts.”  We hope you enjoy them as much as we have!
