More about me…

So many of my earliest and fondest memories as a child are deeply rooted in Disney.  One of my first exposures to Walt Disney’s extraordinary talents was a Disney Golden Oldies VHS Videocassette that my dad bought for me and my brothers and sisters.  The video contained a mashup of short clips of classic Disney cartoons and films, with “oldies” hit songs as the soundtrack.  Our impressionable young selves were enthralled with the animation, and we would watch the tape for hours without ever growing bored of it!  We were also incredibly lucky to grow up at a time that classic Walt Disney films, like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Sleeping Beauty, were readily available to us.  And we experienced firsthand the Disney Renaissance period of the 1990s that produced new animated films which included Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin.  Learning all of the words to the soundtracks of beloved Disney movies, with the help of Disney Sing-Along Songs videos, was another favorite pastime of ours.   

Fast forward 20ish years and I met and married my wonderful husband, and we have since been blessed with three amazing kids.  We recently also added a furry child to our crazy crew, an adorably goofy Golden Retriever named Walt – yes, named in honor of Walt Disney!  It has been such a joy to pass along the wonder and enchantment of Disney to our children, and see the magic come alive for them.

Our favorite family vacation destination is (you guessed it!) any Disney theme park!  We basically live life in one of two modes – we are either on a Disney vacation or in the midst of planning our next escape to the magic.  Work, school, and the kids’ various activities have a knack of keeping us quite busy when we are home, but we always try our best to infuse the chaos with hearty doses of Pixie Dust.  Whether it be replicating our favorite snacks from the parks, sprucing up our home decor to add a subtle touch of Disney, or simply choosing one of the many offerings on Disney+ to plan a family movie night, we truly love our Disney way of life.  We are Always Disney Dreaming, and we invite you to dream along with us too!
